AniThrift respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle your data when you use our marketplace.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and data generated when you use the platform:
- Account data: email, username, display name, password (hashed by Supabase Auth)
- Profile data: bio, avatar, seller ratings, and public shop information
- Transaction data: listings, orders, cart, watchlist, and reviews
- Messages sent through the platform
- Shipping addresses you enter at checkout or in account settings
- Payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
How we use information
We use your information to operate the marketplace:
- Authenticate you and secure your account
- Process purchases and seller payouts
- Display listings, profiles, and order history
- Enable messaging between buyers and sellers
- Enforce content standards and block abusive users
- Improve the service and prevent fraud
Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run AniThrift, including Supabase (database and auth) and Stripe (payments). Seller ship-from addresses are not shown publicly to buyers.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can update your profile, manage blocked users, and delete listings you control. You may request account deletion by contacting support.
Security
We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections, row-level database security, and server-side secret handling. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of AniThrift after changes means you accept the updated policy.
