Refunds & cancellations

AniThrift connects buyers and sellers. Payment is processed by Stripe. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on the platform.
Before you pay
If you leave checkout before completing payment, the order stays unpaid and may appear as pending briefly. You can cancel an unpaid pending order from Your orders.
Once Stripe payment succeeds, the sale is binding unless a refund is approved under this policy.
Buyer refund requests
If something goes wrong after purchase — item not received, significantly not as described, or seller unresponsive — open Your orders and submit a refund request. We review requests and may issue a manual Stripe refund when appropriate.
Contact the seller through Messages first when possible. Many issues are resolved faster directly.
- Refund requests are reviewed by AniThrift support
- Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe
- Shipping labels already purchased may affect refund amounts
Seller cancellations
Sellers should not cancel paid orders without buyer agreement. If you cannot fulfill an order, message the buyer immediately and contact support@anithrift.com.
Disputes & chargebacks
You may also dispute a charge with your card issuer. Chargebacks are handled under Stripe and card network rules. Use the report flow on listings, profiles, or orders if you believe a user violated our Terms.
